(113) FLOWER BENCH

The bench is part of the same research work on the concepts of equality and diversity that inspire the architectural work of Mansilla and Tuñón. The bench is configured as an irregular flower with five petals, which offers different seating. This flower, made out of concrete, comes in two variations and two sizes, with a subtle play of similarities and differences. Possible clusters of these elements of street furniture allow for flexible use both collectively or individually while preserving the user’s privacy.
