(024) SWIMMING CENTRE. 1994-1998

The San Fernando de Henares Swimming Center complete an existing municipal sports facility. The set is developed along Paseo de los Pinos near the Henares River. The Swimming Centre is organized in a linear structure, arranging its composition elements in succession: lobby, changing rooms and amenities core, instruction vessel and multipurpose vessel. The facade is constructed as a basket of stacked precast concrete girders. The nearby trees are visible from the interior.
